Behind the Wheel Lessons

Behind the Wheel begins as soon as you have your permit and continues after the classroom portion is completed.
After you get your permit, you must wait 6 months before you can get your license. During that time, you must get 50 hours of practice time logged with your parents, and 6 Behind the Wheel appointments with the instructors.
The 6 appointments are spread out over your 6-month waiting period, about 1 a month, to give you time to practice the skills for each lesson.
Students typically finish Behind the Wheel in 6 months, but it may take longer if you miss an appointment and have to reschedule.
