Summer school is an optional opportunity for students in grades 9–12 enrolled in the School District of Marshfield.

Marshfield High School's Summer School program offers a flexible and engaging way for students in grades 9–12 to continue learning, recover credits, or explore new interests. With a variety of in-person, blended, and online courses, students can stay on track, get ahead, or try something new — all while earning high school credit in a supportive environment.

Interested?
Attendance Policy
- Students are expected to attend all scheduled classes
- Parents must notify teachers in writing for absences
- Work must be made up for missed time
- No credit will be granted after five absences (regardless of reason)
- Five tardies = 1 absence; tardies over 15 minutes = 1 absence
To earn the ½ credit, each course will satisfy the DPI requirement of 4,050 minutes of instruction.
Students and families should plan for approximately 135 minutes of learning per day for each ½ credit course.

Report Cards and Grades
Grading
- Grades follow the A/B/C/D/F/I scale for courses that are not Pass/Fail
- Grades affect GPA for credited courses
- Grade progress is viewable in Skyward
- Summer school classes do not count toward credit minimums
- No summer honor roll

Report cards will be mailed after the session ends.
