Before the Match

Review Keys to Success with your Mentor and the Student/Parent/Guardian Handbook

Fill out and Return Student Commitment Form (needs to be updated every school year)

Fill out and Return Information Exchange Sheet (needs to be updated every school year)

Complete Preparing for the First Meeting

Return Permission Form to Mrs. Sternweis

Day of 1st Match Meeting – Meet along with Mrs. Sternweis

Pick up your pass in the Main Office to excuse you from class

Take Preparing for the First Meeting along to your mentor meeting

Arrive on time; conduct yourself in a professional manner

Introduce yourself & thank your mentor for sharing their time

Set up the next meeting date & time with your mentor & put it on your calendar

Day of each subsequent Match Meeting

Meet with your mentor 1 hour per month during the school year

Dress appropriately

Pick up your pass in the Main Office to excuse you from class

Bring any questions you have — here are some suggestions
