Thank you for considering guest speaking to increase career awareness for the students at MHS!

These exploratory experiences are open to all students at MHS and are geared towards exposing students to new career opportunities – careers they perhaps didn’t know existed or didn’t know enough about to see themselves successful in that career.

Partner with Marshfield High School

Students sign-up for these opportunities in Flex Time Manager.

How it works

  • Visit the high school during our three 30-minute Flextime sessions.
  • Speak to three different groups of students, typically 10–20 per session.
  • Each session is 30 minutes, back-to-back.

Ways to engage students

  • Hands-on activities showing needed industry skills (for example: banking, money-counting).
  • Technology such as PowerPoint or Kahoot.
  • Printed materials to hand out (brochures, business cards).
  • Bring models, machines, tools, or equipment used in your industry.
  • Photos showcasing your business or industry.
  • Promotional giveaways.
  • Invite a colleague or team member to co-present.

Next steps & logistics

  • If you’re interested in partnering, let us know which date works best.
  • On your selected date, please arrive at the MHS Main Office by 10:25 am for check-in and setup.
  • You’ll be finished at approximately 12:30 pm.

We greatly appreciate your participation in our program and hope you will consider covering some of the following topics:
